The Georgetown Revolver Club celebrated its 50 year anniversary in 2007 and has operated in the small hamlet of Limehouse Ontario since 1957.
The club is relatively small and currently has about ninety members. The club utilises a state of the art 20 yard indoor range, certified for .22 cal rimfire through .45 cal centerfire handguns.
The range is operational 24/7 and has a heated clubroom and high volume ventilation is installed within the range area.
The main club shoot night is every Wednesday 7.00pm - 10.0pm and a club business meeting is held on the first Wednesday of each month. The AGM is held in december for election of the club executive.
The range is certified for .22 cal rimfire rifles but no formal competitive events are currently in effect.
Competitive events for both ISSU and NRA Bullseye handgun disciplines are held throughout the year, as well as a number of social events for both members and guests.
The club boasts a mixture of highly skilled competitive marksmen together with a backbone of recreational target shooters that enjoy the comradre and technical/social aspects of belonging to a club of this type.
