Pistol Section
ISU Bullseye style shooting (International Shooting Sports Federation - ISSF)
NRA Style matches i.e. Canadian 1800 - 2700
Bullseye matches are normally held each month, starting in November and running through until June.
There is a nominal fee of $2.00 per match and the course of fire consists of the following:
The Bullesye matches consist of the following:
Sport Pistol (Rimfire .22 cal) Precision and Rapid Fire shooting.
Standard Pistol (Rimfire .22 cal) A combination of Slow Fire - Timed Fire - Rapid Fire shooting.
Centerfire Pistol (.32, .38, .45 cal) Precision and Rapid Fire shooting.
The best of six scores will be used to determine the standings for the year. Matches that are postponed will be made up on a date to be decided by the pistol match committee which will be posted in the club room.
Match Schedule for 2008
Standard and Sport pistol First Tuesday of every month 7.30 pm
Centerfire Pistol Third Tuesday of every month 7.30 pm
Rifle Section
The use of .22 cal rifles is permitted on the 20 yard indoor range.
At the present time the club does not conduct formal competitions for .22 cal rifles, but interested members are encouraged to pursue informal target shooting,.
All of the normal club safety rules are enforced.
